Welcome to the Success by the Book Podcast, the place where Christians who want to experience the extravagant goodness of God in all areas of their lives come from mentorship. I am your host, Dr. Uma, and I'll be unpacking the secret I have learned from the Word of God over the last two decades. Let's dive in.

Now, in your Bible, there is a prayer known as the Lord's Prayer. And it is not necessarily a prayer to just repeat per se. It's like a template of prayer, it's like a book, and this is the outline of the book. Chapter one, this, chapter two, this. That's literally what it is. And so you can fill that up. So we're going to practice praying the Lord's Prayer. And you're going to pray it, you're going to pray it for yourself because I want you to get the concept. And then now this becomes something you can pray for your family, you can pray for your children. You can pray for your 12. You can pray for your pastor. But I want you to get it. Okay. So we're going to trust God. Father, we depend on you for the grace to pray. We depend on you for the grace to pray in the name of Jesus. Okay. So we're going to focus on one area at a time. So just follow me. Okay. Just follow me. Okay. The first slide. Thank you, Jesus. Okay. So the Lord's Prayer. The Lord's Prayer starts with our Father in heaven. The starting point of the Lord's Prayer is relationship. Relationship with God. Not our creator, but our Father. Amen. And so the first thing we're going to pray about is that God takes us deeper in Him. He helps us have a deeper relationship with Him. That He gives us the Bible says in Philippians 2 13 that it is God working in us, giving us the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Having a relationship with him pleases him. So we're going to pray, Lord, do a work in me. Give me the desire to stay in the place of prayer. The desire to read your word. The desire to meditate in your word. The desire to obey and walk in your ways. Help me to go deeper in you, deeper in my walk with you. In the name of Jesus Christ. Go ahead, lift your voices and pray. Lift your voices and pray. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray over myself this morning. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you put in me, you work in me, and give me the desire and the power to go deeper in you, deeper in my reading of the word, my study of the word, times of prayer, times of worship, hosting your presence. I pray, Lord, in the name of Jesus. I'm not the one who have a shallow relationship with you. I'm a person who has a deep relationship with you, a person who chooses to live according to your dictates. A person who decides to follow in your word, to obey your word. Help me, Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ. Those who are going deeper in God, deeper in God, say amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. My Father. My Father. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Blessed be your holy name. Blessed be your name. Okay. Next slide. Our Father in heaven. Hallowed be your name. Hallowed be your name. Hallowed be your name. Now we're gonna pray. There was a day in worship. The worship team was doing the mostness and singing all these things about hallowed be your name, let your name be glorified. All of this. And God said, How do you think my name is glorified? Is it by your singing? It's not by your singing. The actions you do when you have a godly character, you're bringing glory to my name. When you manifest the blessing of God in all nine areas of your life, you're bringing glory to his name. You're bringing glory to his name. So he said, You do that, and then when you come to church, you sing about what you do. You sing about what you do. So we're gonna pray. What is the prayer, Lord? Help me to live. First of all, we make a decision. If you're making a decision, you type in the chat, I choose. You're choosing to live a life that brings glory to your name. If somebody follows you all through your day, can they just then say, Wow, praise be to God, praise be to God just by watching you do what you do? Can they say that? So you make a decision. I choose to live a life that brings glory to your name. I choose to live a life that hallows your name. I choose. Then now we're gonna ask Him for help. Lord, help me live a life that brings glory to your name every single day. Help me live a life that my lifestyle is worship and praise to your name. It triggers worship and praise in the lives of those watching me. Help me to live a life, help me to live that life in the name of Jesus. Go ahead, lift your voices, prayer. Oh Father, in the name of Jesus, we make that decision. I make that decision that my life will be like a worship song. My lifestyle will be like a worship, constant worship to you. I pray in the name of Jesus. Help me manifest your character, help me to manifest your nature, help me to manifest your glory and your power. Help me to manifest your blessing in all nine areas of my life. That when people look at my life, they are forced to give you praise in the name of Jesus. That my life glorifies your name, my life exalts your name in the eyes of the people who watch. In the name of Jesus, help me, Lord. Thank you, Jesus, our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your kingdom come, your kingdom come. So we're going to pray. Now, God's kingdom can come anyways, but we have a role to pray. So, what is our prayer here? Lord, help me live in such a way that my life aggressively advances your kingdom in the name of Jesus. Help me to live in such a way that my life aggressively moves your kingdom forward in the name of Jesus. That I'm a person who intercedes, that I'm a person who talks to the lost, I'm a person who helps believers stand, I'm a person who disciples others, I'm a person who gives to advance your kingdom. I am that person, I'm a person who downloads what your will for my life is, and I walk accordingly, accomplishing the assignment you gave me. That at the end of my life I'll be able to say, Father, I glorified you on the earth by completing to the last detail what you assigned me to do in the name of Jesus. Go ahead, lift up your voices and cry out to God. You may think I can't do these things, but we have come to the one who is the maker of men. We are the one we've come to the one who is the helper of man. Cry out to him. This life will aggressively advance your kingdom every single day in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, that my life will answer this every single day. My life will trigger kingdom come every single day. My life will aggressively advance your kingdom every day, every single day, taking territory, taking territory, depopulating hell and populating heaven in the name of Jesus. Your kingdom advancing is my priority in the name of Jesus Christ. For in Jesus' name we prayed, and the people who live lives that aggressively advance the kingdom of God say amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Next slide, our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Writing about Jesus in the book of Hebrews, the Bible says, Lo, I have come as it is written of me in the volume of your book. There's a book written about you, my friend. There's a book written, and your life is written, and God's counsel is written. Imagine if in all nine areas of your life, your life looked like the book that was written about you. Imagine how glorious. Imagine how much of a sign and a wonder where you can provoke it in the place of prayer. You're like, Lord, in all nine areas of my life, let your will be done in this life as you've already decided it in heaven. Let your will be done. Let your will be done in this life as it has already been decided in heaven. Let it be done. What are you doing? Inviting the intervention of God to work things, to give encounters, to organize situations, all of that, so your life looks like his perfect plan. God said, You are the Bible says, God, you are God's masterpiece. Masterpiece. Your life designed to be a masterpiece. How do we provoke that? By praying this prayer. By praying this prayer. So go ahead and lift your voices. Father, let your will be done in this life, let it be done in all areas of my life, as it is written in heaven, in the name of Jesus, as it's written in my book, in the name of Jesus. Knowing that God's plans are so much better than any plan you could ever come up with. Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift up my life before you. I commit it into your hands. I say, Lord, let your will be done. Let your will be done in every aspect of my life, in all nine areas of my life. Let your will be done in the name of Jesus. Thank you for what you're doing in the name of Jesus. Next slide. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread. Now, this doesn't just refer to food, it refers to the resources you need for today. The resources you need for today. Some of you need wisdom to navigate a situation. Some of you need strength for something you've been procrastinating on for so long. Some of you need connections. You need your name mentioned in the right room. Some of you need finances to be delivered to you. Whatever it is, I presented before him. Presented before him. Presented before him. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, give us this day our daily bread. What we need to win today, what we need to go through today, the relationships we need for today, the rare and uncommon opportunities we need for today, the inside information we need for today, the wisdom we need for today, the needs that we have, Lord, that they're met today. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for your intervention, we pray for your provision. You are the owner of the earth, and you're the owner of the world and everything within it. In the name of Jesus, we present. These requests for you. And Lord, before you and Lord, I pray over my brothers and sisters that everything they have presented before you, that you intervene, Lord, that you provide, oh God. You are our El Shaddai, the all-sufficient God. You are Jehovah Jirah, our provider. We come to you in faith and we receive those things we ask of you in the name of Jesus Christ and those who believe, say amen. Oh hallelujah. Oh hallelujah. And whatever those things were, make sure you write them so as they occur. You can give God praise so you can see that your God is faithful. He's faithful. He's faithful. So can you ask for your needs every day? Yes, yes. It's in the protocol of prayer. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, day by day, our daily bread, and forgive our sins. Now, this one has a condition forgive our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. So, Tim, you can go to the next slide. So, first of all, if there is anybody in your life that you have not forgiven, now is the time. Now is the time. I want you to remember who that is. I want you to forgive them. I want you to type in the chat. I let them go. You might say, Dr. Una, you do not know what that person has done to me. But this is the thing, you need God's forgiveness. Well, then they need your forgiveness. You need God's forgiveness. If God were not to if you were to hold yourself against you, you don't stand a chance. You don't stand a chance. So you don't forgive them because of them, you forgive them because of you. Okay, so I want you to think about it. It's a decision now because you need God's mercy more than they need your mercy. I let them go. I let them go. I let them go. I let them go. That's you, just type in the chat. I let them go. We're not holding that stuff because the opportunity is too high. The opportunity cost is too high. The opportunity cost is you don't get God's forgiveness. We all need God's forgiveness. We all need God's forgiveness. I promise you, it's not that serious. You need God's mercy. Nobody can survive without his mercy. Nobody. Nobody. Lord, I let them all go. I forgive them, Lord. I let them go. I choose not to hold it against that. Yes, I was wrong, but I choose not to hold it again. Hold it against that. Okay, so now we're gonna pray. Father, forgive our sins. Forgive our sins. There's specific things, things you told you not to do, things you knew not to do. Present it before him. Present it before him. Lord, I pray for your forgiveness. I pray for your forgiveness. I pray that you wash me clean by the blood of Jesus. I come, I ask for your forgiveness. I bring repentance. Repentance, words I shouldn't have spoken, actions I shouldn't have taken, actions I should have taken, but I didn't. Words I should have spoken, but I didn't. I ask for your forgiveness, Lord. I ask for your forgiveness. Thank you, Jesus. I ask for your mercy. Your mercy at fresh in my life. Your mercy, Lord. You're mercy, Lord. I come by the blood of Jesus, by that blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel. And I the blood of Abel, I obtained forgiveness this morning. A clean slate this morning, a freshness slate that I may stand before you without guilt, without shame, without reproach. I stand in righteousness, the righteousness Jesus paid for me to have. I stand in right standing with my God in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. And those who just obtained forgiveness and cleansing and mercy, say Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. We give you praise. We give you praise. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us day by day our daily bread and forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. So we're gonna pray, Lord, rescue me from temptation, rescue me from evil, rescue me from the evil one. Go ahead and lift up your voices because we live in a fallen world and we live in a world where Satan runs loose. But if we can bring the force of prayer, we can function as though he's not there. But to do that, we need the force of prayer. Lord, deliver me from temptation, rescue me from temptation, rescue me from evil, rescue me from the evil one. Go ahead and lift your voices, prayer. Oh Lord, I present my life before you and everything that concerns me. And Lord, in the name of Jesus, I ask you, Father, to rescue me from temptation, to rescue me from all evil, to rescue me from the evil one in the name of Jesus Christ, that I may live my life without satanic interference in the name of Jesus. I depend on you, O God. And I want you to go ahead and declare this over your life. Declare this, declare the prayer, all of it over your life. In the name of Jesus, every single day. I am going deeper in my relationship with God, deeper in prayer, deeper in the study of the word, deeper in meditation, deeper in obedience, deeper in worship. I'm going deeper in my relationship with my Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Every single day I live a life that brings glory to the name of God by the way I live, by my character, by my nature, by the signs and wonders my life my life brings, my life causes people to praise and worship God and give him praise and give him glory in the name of Jesus. My life, every single day, aggressively advances the kingdom of God. Every single day, my life is moving people forward in the kingdom of God. The kingdom is gaining ground because of the way I live, because of the actions I take. I'm involved in intercession, I'm involved in discipleship, I'm involved in funding the kingdom, I'm involved in it in the name of Jesus. I declare in my life, it is the counsel of the Lord that stands, it is the will of God that is done, the will of God that is already decided in heaven is what happens in my life every single day. In the name of Jesus, day by day. My God, my provider provides my every need. In the name of Jesus, every need I have, every resource I need, every form of help I need, every form of favor I need. I'm abundantly supplied by El Shaddai, the all-sufficient one. In the name of Jesus, I decree in the name of Jesus that God's mercy is at work in my life, that I have forgiveness. I have a right standing with God in the name of Jesus, and I have the capacity to forgive everyone who wrongs me. In the name of Jesus, I am a forgiver, the same way God is a forgiver. In the name of Jesus, I decree that I am free of every form of evil in the name of Jesus. My father rescues me from every temptation. My father rescues me from the evil one. My father rescues me from every form of evil in the name of Jesus. This is my portion in the name of Jesus. This is my portion in the name of Jesus. I am blessed and highly favored in the name of Jesus. I have a life that manifests the grace of God, the favor of God, the mercy of God, the advancement of God. I'm a sign and a wonder to my generation. In the name of Jesus, I'm an example of what is possible when God lays hold of the life. In the name of Jesus, all things, all things are working together for my good. In the name of Jesus, every single day I'm moving forward. Every single day I'm making progress. Every single day I'm walking in the ways of God. Thank you, Jesus. I give you all the praise for in Jesus' name we've prayed, and God's people say amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus, for this blueprint of prayer. Thank you, Father, in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Now, question for you. If you look at your life now and everything you declare is your reality, how would you praise God? That's how we're going to praise Him now. That's how we're going to praise Him now. So you're going to praise Him with your words. You're going to praise Him with your body, your hands lifted up. You're going to lift your voice and praise Him. You're going to throw up those emojis and praise Him. Father, we thank you in the name of Jesus. How blessed are we to have a God like you? How blessed are we to have a Father like you? How blessed are we to have your intervention in our lives? How blessed are we to have a spiritual technology of prayer? How blessed are we. We're so grateful, Lord. We're so grateful, Lord. Thank you for our walk with you. Thank you for your will happening in our lives. Thank you for your provision day by day, healing, resources, favor, whatever we need. Thank you, Lord, in the name of Jesus for your mercy. Thank you for your deliverance. In the name of Jesus, thank you, Lord. We give you praise. We give you glory in Jesus' name, and God's people say amen. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Oh, we give you praise. Oh, we give you praise. Thank you, Lord. Ah, yeah. Okay. In three minutes, I have three instructions to give you. Please do not hop off. Do not hop off. Okay. Okay, now instruction number one. Make a habit of praying this for yourself. How many of you think it's good for you to pray this for yourself? Often. Often. Right? Pray this for yourself. If you pray this way, you will end up in the center of God's will. You will end up going deeper with God. You end up becoming a sign and a wonder. You will end up, you have a life that is like a well-watered garden. As if there's no Satan in this world. Okay? Okay. So pray this for yourself. Then pray this for others. Literally, you know it says our father, not my father. You can come and you're like, Lord, I bring my family to you. Take us deeper in you. Let us live in such a way that your name will be hard. Let us be people who would advance your kingdom forcefully. Let your will be done in our life. You can pray for your family, pray it for your community, pray it for your 12th, pray it for your pastors, pray like this. Okay? So pray for yourself, pray it for others. Then when you speak over your life, speak this over your life. That's why I demonstrated it for you to see our Father in heaven. God, I go deeper in God. I live in such a way that God's name is hallowed. My life was free advanced in the kingdom. Even if you don't understand how to do this, this is besides the point because you're coming to the person who knows how God supplies my every need, every single day. I have access to mercy, I have access to forgiveness. I stand in right standing with him. I'm delivered from temptation, I'm delivered from the evil one, I'm delivered from every form of evil. How many of you notice your mindset shifting? Like you are like, wait, my life is good. How many? How many of you are like, wait, my life, my life is good? If this is the story of my life, my life is good, right? So even when you're going about your day, you find yourself getting discouraged. All this, you take this and you start speaking it. It's part of meditation and it's part of attracting life to your life. Death and life is in the power of the tongue, right? So when you speak this, what are you doing? Attracting life to every aspect of your life. Make it a declaration. Make it a declaration when your life is not lining up with it. Speak, speak. What do you do when you speak? You're attracting life to your life. So speak it. Speak it. Let this be this book of the law, this Bible, this scripture shall not depart out of your mouth, shall not depart out your this should not depart from your mouth. So the mouth he used to say, I don't know why things are not working. No, when you can say this, why would you say that? This is what we say. When we're like, I don't my life doesn't line up with the Bible, then open your mouth and start rearranging your life, saying these things that are in line with the will of God. Amen. Okay.
