Welcome to the Success by the Book Podcast, the place where Christians who want to experience the extravagant goodness of God in all areas of their lives come from mentorship. I am your host, Dr. Inna, and I'll be unpacking the secrets I have learned from the Word of God over the last two decades. Let's dive in. So here's the deal. Okay, here's the deal. A man lived for three and a half years. Okay, we all know who this is. I'll tell you who it is in a second. A man lived for three and a half years and then he died. Okay, he lived for three and a half years and then he died. Now we are at 2,000 years after his death. Now I'm 47. So to put that in context, it's like me living till 47 43 times. So we're over 2,000 years from his death, and he has 2.6 billion followers with a B. He has he, you know, his book, if you will, has been sold five to seven billion times. And he's living a life of more impact than people who are alive today. And that's Jesus, right? We know this is Jesus. Jesus lived for three and a half years, and he left. Not live for three and a half years. He worked for three and a half years, right? He worked for three and a half years. He left. And 2,000 years later, his life is still touching people, impacting people, changing people. And he did it starting a ministry with no internet, no phone, no podcast, right? And so we have to ask ourselves this question: how was Jesus able to do what no president has been able to do, no king has been able to do, marketing engine has been able to do, no company has been able to do. How was he able to outlive himself? How was he able to have massive impact 2,000 years after he was gone? And I'm gonna show you how he did it so that you can do it, so I can do it. And we can live these lives that 10 years after we're gone, 100 years after we're gone, we are we continue to live lives of profound impact. Of course, while we're alive, we do, but it outlives us, okay? And you know, you might listen to this and say, Well, that's Jesus. Of course, Jesus did that, but I want you to hear me. I want you to hear me. I during the pandemic, I was watching a video by Miles Monroe. And Miles Monroe had been dead for up to a decade, okay? And I was watching this video, and it was almost as if he was giving me the strategies to thrive in the midst of a pandemic, but he had been dead for over a decade. Okay, so we're gonna learn how to live lives that are so impactful now, that will be so impactful when we're older. So sometimes people like, oh yeah, you know, I'm older now, so you know, is I'm kind of just chilling. No, lives that will be impactful now, lives that will be impactful when we're older, lives that will be impactful until Jesus comes back. Jesus is our example. There's some things Jesus did that he could only do, okay? Dying on the cross, only he could do that. But the other stuff that he did, it was our example, so we can see how our lives can continue to impact. Okay, you are designed to have dominion, you are designed to have profound impact, you are designed to live a life where your name is so powerful years after you're gone, right? And it doesn't matter. You may say, but I'm not a pastor, it doesn't matter, but I don't know everything, it doesn't matter. I haven't finished reading my Bible for the first time, it doesn't matter. Like none of these things matter. What really matters is that you choose to say yes, you choose to say yes to what we're gonna talk about today. Okay, all right. So so let's do this. Um, I want to read a scripture for you that, you know, we know, um, but sometimes we forget. There is a law of first mention. There is a law, it's a law of first mention, right? So when you see something first mentioned in the Bible, a lot of times it's talking about the original intent. Okay, we're gonna read a scripture. You've known that scripture for Adam and Eve, but it's time for you to know the scripture for you. This is not about Adam, this is not about Eve, this is not about anybody in Genesis. This is about you, okay? This is about you. I want you to hear it for you. When God wanted to make man, mankind, humans, this is what he said. He said in Genesis chapter 1, verse 26, it says, then God said, Let us make man in our image according to our likeness, let them have dominion. Okay, so when God made you, God's intention was for you to be made in his image. Not it, not I'm not talking to everybody, I'm talking to you. I want you to hear for you. God made me to be in his image, God made me to be after his likeness, so to do things like him, and God made me to have dominion. This is God's intent. You might say, but you don't know where I'm coming from. It does not matter. The mistakes I've made, it does not matter. I tried before and it didn't work. It does not matter. This was God's intention. And if you will partner with God, your mistake or what you think you don't know or you don't have is not enough to cancel out what God wants to do. Okay? Okay. So this was God's intention. Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, let them have dominion. Then he went on in verse 28, and you gotta hear this, okay? Because I want you to see this as how God impacted you and empowered you before he sent you to earth. I hope you know before you came on earth, you exist like God, okay. God told Jeremiah, he said, Before I formed, before I formed you in your mother's womb, I knew you. I knew you. So you're not an accident, okay? I had a pastor who would say there could be accidental parents, but there's nothing like an accidental child. Okay, if you are here on this planet, I want to read to you how God commissioned you when he sent you into the earth. Okay. Before he sent you into the earth, what did God say? Before you became, you know, you, you know, because before you triggered hormones and you became two lines on a pregnancy test that your mother took. How what happened? So this is what it says. It says in verse 28, then God blessed them. What does that mean? It's an empowerment to prosper. Okay, we have reduced blessing to this thing where we sneeze, and then someone says, God bless you, right? Or we bless our food and stuff like that. The blessing means an empowerment to prosper. So God, when he's before he sent you, says, and God blessed them. So you are blessed, you are empowered to prosper. You are not sent to earth to fail, you were sent to earth to succeed, to prosper in the assignment God gave you. Okay? And when we say assignment, God gave you, sometimes we think only on the spiritual angle, as far as ministry in the context of traditional ministry. No, God sent you to prosper. For instance, we talk about the nine areas of life. In all nine areas of life, God is so, and I went when I think about it, I think about if you look at verse 26, it said, and God said, Let us. So I think about the Godhead, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Like, they're like, oh, we're gonna send Dr. Una down. I'm sure they don't call me Dr. Una, they call me NECA, right? I'm just used to calling myself Dr. Una. It's a and it's and it says, Oh, we're sending NECA down. Okay, let us bless her, let us empower her to prosper. Isn't that such a powerful thought when you think about it? You're not just an accident that showed up and, like, oh my goodness, she's here. Well, he's here. What are we gonna do? No, it's like, and God blessed her, God empowered her to prosper, God empowered me to prosper. Okay, then he goes on to say, and God said to them, Be fruitful. So I am empowered to be fruitful. I came with the wiring and the conditioning and the equipment to be fruitful. And you have to understand, yes, does it mean fruitful in the context of family? Yes, but it also means fruitful outside of that. Okay, okay, so it says, be fruitful one, and am I empowered to be fruitful? Yes, because remember, the first thing he did was he blessed me. Okay, be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth. Some other trans translations use replenish and subdue it, then have dominion and gives all the spheres. Okay. So am I, when someone says I'm not creative, it's a lie from the pit of hell that you've believed because you're made in the image of God. And the first thing the Bible says about God is that He was creative. When you show up in a place and you're like, oh, I can't do this, I'm just gonna fail. I'm no good. God has shown me to do this, but I can't do it. You're lying. You may not mean to, but you're lying because God blessed you, empowered you to prosper, and He programmed you to be someone who can be fruitful, who can multiply, who can who can replenish it, who can subdue it and have dominion. You are you came pre-installed with that ability. When you buy your phone, you do not pre-inst you do not come to install a camera in your phone. Your phone comes pre-installed with a camera. Okay, when you get a when you get a phone, you don't try to put a a phone app, a phone call app, a calling app on your phone because it already came with that. If you get if you get an iPhone, you're not trying to put install a browser like a safari browser because it came pre-installed. You are pre-installed with a blessing, pre-installed to be able to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the whole line yards. Okay, you might say, Dr. Una, where are you going to with this thing? We're talking about living a life, but you have to understand who you are. You're not a nobody, you're not average, you're not just passing time, it's not too late for you. It's not like, oh, I've made all these mistakes, or people can do stuff like that. I can't do it. No, ma'am, no, sir. You are blessed. You are blessed, you are so blessed. Okay, Dr. Una, all right, let's go, let's go, let's go. If that is the case, if I am called to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue it, to have dominion, and all of that stuff, that means I am called to live a life of profound impact. I am called to serve, I am called to change situations, I am called to enforce the kingdom of God in the earth. I am called to live a life of profound impact. This is not something you're like begging God for, he'll set you up so you have you live a life of profound impact. No, no, no, no, no. God's intent from the beginning is that you will live a life of profound impact. And we're gonna look at how Jesus, our master, our example, did this so we can do it too. You are not in, you're not insignificant, you are not also here, you're not in like we're just gonna try and see what we can pull off. No, you are called to live a life of profound impact. You matter in the agenda of God. God wants to use your life to bless the nations of the earth, and God has made it so ridiculously simple and available for all of us. You can do this. Why? Because he empowered you to, he's with you on the assignment, he's built the systems that make it possible, he's giving you tools of dominion. I mean, like this is wild, so wild. Okay, all right. So let's look at this, okay? Let's look at this. Okay, now let's look at how Jesus used the be fruitful, multiply, etc. formula. We'll go through the first three to change, to change his world. Because from today, you are going to use what you have to change your world and the world. Okay. From today, everything changes for you. All right. So let's look at the first part be fruitful. What does that talk about, right? What does being fruitful talk about here? Being fruitful here talks about becoming the example. Okay, that's what Jesus did, right? So the starting point is Jesus as the Son of God, Jesus as the person who manifested the character of God, the power of God, the wisdom of God, right? The results of God. Jesus was fruitful. Okay, Jesus was fruitful. And and so when you when you think about this, if this doesn't work, none of the other things work. Okay. The starting point of your impact is becoming in character, in wisdom, in results, in displaying the power of God. Okay. So you will notice, like for those of you who are with me on Horizon Shine, we're constantly looking for how to grow. The price for this phase is growth. When you are growing, you're setting yourself up to live a life of profound impact. You're setting yourself up to be fruitful. Okay. So we read Luke chapter 2, verse 52 a lot. Jesus in become on the way to becoming fruitful, what did he have to do? They talked about Jesus before he started doing the miracles and doing all of those things. And Jesus after, you'll find this in Luke chapter 2. It says, and Jesus grew in wisdom, in stature, in favor with God, and favor with people. This had to happen before the multiplication can happen because you are going to multiply what you've been fruitful in. Let me give you an example, okay? Because this example is not just having children. You have to understand this. Okay. So let me use business as an example, okay? What does being fruitful as an entrepreneur mean? It means that you built a successful business. Okay. So for me in my journey, I started with my first business, which I which I launched almost 16 years ago at this point. And it was my private practice. And so that becomes the lab for me to become fruitful. So how do I, as somebody who's been an employee, how do I make this transition to entrepreneur? How do I take this business to six figures, multiple six figures, seven figures? How do I build it in such a way that it can work without me? How do I install systems? How do I build a great team? All of those things. What is all of that? That's becoming fruitful. Okay. So I've built this business, right? Okay. Now we're going to talk about multiply later. I'm going a little ahead of myself, but now multiplication is now that I've done this, I can then install the same thing that allowed me to do it in other people so they can create the results. You see, but the important thing is the foundation is you being able to do the become the person and do the thing. And this is every aspect of your life. So for instance, um with Jesus, he did that, and then he was able to start multiplying, right? As an entrepreneur, I had to build that. And so what does that mean for us? Again, I call Jesus' development program the ultimate development program. Okay. So Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favorite God and favorite people. So one of the greatest gifts you can give your world is becoming everything God called you to become. So we don't say, oh, I don't have wisdom. No, go get wisdom. Go grow into the wisdom. Read the Bible, read the books, ask God for the spirit of wisdom. But you've got to grow in this stuff. Why? So you can multiply it and you can fill the earth with it. Okay? You grow in character, right? They already gave us the character. If you go to Galatians 5, 5, 22, you see the fruit of the spirit. Growing your capacity to love people. Let the love of God flow through you to other people. Growing your capacity to walk in joy. Even when there's chaos and all of that stuff, you can function in joy. Growing your capacity to manifest peace, the peace of God, right? So that even again, when there's chaos, when there's things like there's a pandemic or whatever, you can walk in that peace, grow in self-control, right? Growing in stature, you got to take care of this body. This is your earth suit. Okay? This is what gives you the right to be here, right? So when God wants to operate in the earth, he goes through people who have bodies. When Satan wants to operate in the earth, he goes through people who have bodies. Why? Because people who have bodies are the people who have jurisdiction here, right? If we abuse our bodies, then we need to leave. Right? Okay, so I need to grow in stature. I need to grow in my capacity to make this body a peak performance body, right? I need to grow in favor with God, go deeper in God. When I go deeper in God, I set myself up so I can be a conduit God can go through to reach his world, right? Reach his world. So all of this growing and all of this stuff, it's all about becoming becoming fruitful. Because the other two steps are not going to make any sense. We're not going to be able to pull them off if we don't get this. The first part is I'd got to grow. So and and the thing about this is I can make a decision, which I made a few years ago, that I will grow every day. You can grow every day. You can decide every day. I'm going to learn something from the scriptures. I upgrade my mindset. I'm going to take care of this body, right? I'm going to go deeper in God. I'm going to pray. I'm going to obey. I'm going to find something. I've been meaning to obey and obey, right? I can grow in favor with people. I can learn my people skills and all of that. I can learn to function in the fruit of the spirit because it's so attractive to people. Right? So the first thing is growing. I must grow. I must become fruitful. Fruitful. And can I do this every day? Yes, I can do this every day. And if you do this, I want you to think about, okay, so so let's let's kind of do some math here. Okay. I'm 47 years old. Okay. And you hear me talk about my 90th birthday is all the time. And so my 90th birthday will be in 43 years. So let's multiply that by 365. That is 15,695 days between now and when I turn 90. 15,695. If I spend, if I grow by 1% every day for 16,500 and 695 days between now and my 90th birthday, how fruitful will I be? Ridiculously fruitful. Do you see what I'm saying? Like it's available to us. We can grow. We can change. It just requires intentionality. So again, those of you that are with me on Horizon Shine, why do we pray every day? We want to grow. Why do we read our Bible every day? We want to grow. Why do we meditate in the scriptures every day? We want to grow, right? Okay. Why do we read the books? We have a book of the month every day, every month, right? Why do we have that? Because we want to grow. Why do we release our faith and push for us to experience success in all nine areas of our lives? Because we want to grow. We want to be fruitful. We want to be fruitful. That's why we do it. So if you ever wonder why they do all this stuff, they do on the rise and shine. This is so we can all be fruitful. So we are setting ourselves up. So when you see different things that we do, you can embrace it, understanding that this is my fruitfulness curriculum. Yeah? Okay. So that's the first thing. God said, be fruitful. And he didn't just say be fruitful. Before he said be fruitful, he blessed us. He gave us an empowerment to prosper, which means I'm empowered to be fruitful. He didn't say go figure it out. He empowered me to be fruitful. I have it in me to be fruitful. I have the capacity to be fruitful. Do you see? So when these mindsets start coming, oh, I can't do this, I can't do that. No, no, no, no, no. I can grow in my fruitfulness. Every single day I can grow. I can grow. I'm empowered. I was sent here, pre-installed. The capacity to be fruitful is pre-installed in me. So this is the decision. I will be fruitful. I will use everything God gave me to be fruitful. Yes? Okay. Number two. So he said, be fruitful. Then he said, multiply. Oh, multiply. Okay. Now I want you to think about multiplication very simply. It is take what God has put in you, what the work he has done in you, all of these things, and put it in others. If you live a life without others, your life will be yay big. It will be so little. Because God's agenda, God's blueprint for you is you be fruitful and then you will multiply. And there's no multiplication without people. God doesn't run a business, quote unquote, that trades in dollars or gold or silver. His business is people. The most important thing to God is people. The most appreciating asset to God is people. Okay. So let's look at how Jesus did this. Okay. I want to show you a scripture here. This is going to be so fun. So fun. If you're enjoying this already, you can throw up some emojis. Let's celebrate God together because this is so mind-boggling. From today, your life will blow your own mind. Okay. Okay. So Luke chapter 17. Um Luke chapter 6. I want to show you um something that's very fascinating. Jesus had diffesus impacted a lot of people and he had different levels of them. Okay. Okay. So let me read. I'm going to read verse 17 and then I'm going to go back and I'm going to read verse 12. We're going to do it in reverse. Okay. Okay. So Luke chapter 6, verse 17. Pay attention to this. It says, He and he, he being Jesus, and he came down with them and stood on a place with a crowd of his disciples. Okay. Now remember, Jesus was fruitful. He, you know, the character, the power, um, the results of God, all of those things, right? Okay. Now he had a crowd of disciples. Now, in the biblical context, who is a disciple? A disciple is somebody who follows a teacher and then learns the ways of the teacher to do the ways of the teacher and spreads the message of the teacher. Okay, that's a disciple. So Jesus now multiplied himself in these people, and he didn't have one disciple, two disciples. I know many people think he had the 12 disciples. Those were actually 12 apostles. He had many disciples. Okay. Okay. So he's and he came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people. Okay, from all Judea and Jerusalem and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sedon, who came to hear him and be healed of their diseases. Okay, so Jesus had a crowd of his disciples, then there was this great multitude of people. Now let's go back to verse 12. There's a reason I'm connecting this way this way. Verse 12, it says, Now it came to pass in those days that he went out to the mountain to pray and continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, he called his disciples to himself, right? He called his disciples, and from his disciples he chose 12 whom he also named apostles. Okay? So now I want you to see that Jesus had three kinds of people, at least from what we've read. He had the crowd of disciples, he had the great multitude, right? The great multitude of people, we can call them, you know, followers, like you know, and then he had 12 apostles. Okay. And these are all depths of impact, right? So he had the crowd of multitudes, he talked to them as a crowd, he had the multitude, ministered to them as multitudes. He had the apostles who are the people who he says should be with him and that he might send them that they may go for him. So look at all, look, I want you to see he had the 12 apostles, crowd of disciples, multitudes of people. And Jesus was impacting all of these people. What does this mean for you? This means for you, like you can affect people in this in the same way. So let me use myself as an example, right? I may have people who follow. So maybe you're on success by the book, and you come and you listen and you hear all these things and you're going and you're implying, you're applying them, and all of those things. That's a level, right? That's a level. Then you come to a rise and shine, and I'm not now telling you this is the benefit of praying in the spirit. I'm like, come, let's pray in the spirit. Okay. I'm not telling you go set your goals for the week. I'm like, here, let's do this in real time. That could be like the crowd of disciples, right? And then I now have people who are direct mentees who, you know, we take things even deeper, right? And they have all these assignments they have to do. I want you to think about that. Now, I made a decision again a few years ago that my head will not touch the pillow without to say I'm going to bed at night, without my life impacting another life, without me taking what God has put in me and putting in somebody else, without aggressively advancing the kingdom of God. Now, somebody might be saying, Oh, but I wouldn't, that's good for you, Dr. Una. I mean, you're doing a rise and shine and success by the book and all that stuff, but that's not, that's not, I don't, I don't know about all that. So let me tell you something, okay? God told me this, it changed my life forever. Living in a way where where your life is impacting other lives, right? Like every single day, is available to every believer. No matter how much or how little you think you know, it is available to every believer. Okay, I'm gonna give you two examples, and then after we do the two examples, I'm gonna give you, I'm gonna give you a treat. Okay, okay. There is a woman in the Bible, and this woman in the Bible, the Bible does not even say what her name is. She's just called the woman of Samaria. Okay. This lady had not even, quote unquote, given her life to Christ. Okay. Jesus said, Jesus came, Jesus was thirsty and hungry, right? But he knew he needed to talk to her. He didn't talk to her because he was hungry. He talked to her because he was, she was on the path. She was part of the assignment. And he said, Oh, give me something to drink. And the woman says, Oh, yeah, um, you know, like, why are you talking to me? I'm a Samaritan woman. You guys don't, you know, you Jews don't talk to us Samaritans. And he's like, Oh, if you knew who was talking to you, you'd ask him for real water. When you drink that, you'll never thirst again. She's like, What are you talking about? You ain't got no, you ain't got no bucket to get stuff from the well. What are you talking about? And then eventually Jesus says, Okay, go call your husband. And she's like, Um, I don't have a husband. He's like, Yeah, you're right. You've had five husbands, and the person you're with now is not even your husband. And she's like, you know, I, you know, is he are you a prophet? Are you the messiah? And start having this conversation. And the woman gets up, she leaves her pot there, and the woman takes off into the into the city, into the village, and goes, tells everybody. She's like, Come see a man who's told me everything I've done. Could he be the messiah? Now I want to show you something very interesting. This woman did not know a lot of scripture. This woman was not a woman who was highly regarded, right? She was not someone who's morally sound. I'm not saying don't be morally sound, I'm just trying to show you something. And she went, and the Bible says the villagers came streaming out of the village to come hear Jesus. They beg Jesus today to stay. Jesus stays for two extra days preaching the gospel. Two extra days. Okay. So she does all she does, she does all of this and delivers a city to Jesus. And all she said was, Come and see. Now, when I looked at that, because I, you know, like I'm like, I, you know, they're great men of God who are doing great things. Here's me just trying to live a life of impact for God. What can I do? Come and see was powerful enough to give Jesus a city. Now, are you thinking that the reward for that all went to Jesus? No, because somebody had to go get those people. So let me tell you something that a decision I made. I want you to make that decision too. Okay. I will become an expert at the come and see method. What that means is, oh, you're not the pastor who's preaching powerfully from the pulpit. Fine, but could you take other people to church? You're not the person who has to lead a rise and shine every morning at six o'clock, but could you take other people there? You may not even know how to get people filled with the Holy Spirit, and we will teach you, but you don't know how to do that, right? But you can connect people, right? So, for instance, to my team, so they can get prayed for and they can get filled with the Holy Spirit. You are multiplying when you do that, you are changing lives when you do that. You are living a life of profound impact when you do that. Come and see. It is so powerful because God is a God of collaborations. Okay, David had a battle, he went to fight. So that people went to fight. There's people who stayed back to watch the property. When it was time to bring back the spoils of war, the people who fought were like, We fought, you shouldn't give them stuff. And David was like, nope, you guys who went to fight, and them who stayed to watch the property, y'all getting the same thing. Right? So I will become an expert at the come and see method. Like, Pastor, we're gonna pray for you to be anointed and all the things. We just bring the people, right? And I'm not saying don't grow in your capacity to do things because as you do this, you grow in it. But while you're growing, you can have a life that changes so many people. So many people, right? I have a dear sister in church, so fun. Dear sister in church, and she had she went, she left Georgia, she left Stone Mountain, Georgia to go visit her cousin in Kenya. She goes to see her cousin in Kenya. Her cousin practices the come and see method. Her cousin says, huh, there is this meeting that I come to every morning that's at six o'clock in the morning. You should come pray. Only for said cousin to come on there and find out, oh my goodness, here's a rise and shine. It's amazing. And to find out that the church is a 20-minute drive from her house. So her cousin in Kenya influences her. She comes on the rise and shine. Now she has a home church. Now she's serving in the church and she's changing so many lives, and she's brought so many people into a rise and shine. So her cousin in Kenya is living a life of profound impact. You guys see what I'm saying? And all she did is come and see. Now we would see that's all she did. But in the kingdom of God, she did something so powerful. I want you to understand this because this we changed lives. I was minding my own business. I had somebody in college who was like, oh my goodness, yeah, come for this prayer meeting. It was at five o'clock, okay? And I need to put this in perspective. It was at five o'clock. I was a medical student who was committed to being asleep at five o'clock. In fact, classes will start at eight. I will roll out of bed at 7:30. If you can imagine how a human being could take a shower and get ready in 20 minutes, I did that. And right at 7:59, I was seated in class. That's how committed I was to not waking up early. So she tells me about this prayer meeting at 5 o'clock. I'm like, you've lost your ever-loving mind. If you think I'm gonna be awake and somewhere at 5 o'clock. But she kept at it and kept at it. I came into the prayer meeting, came into Dominion City. She had no way of knowing that my life, now see, she did come and see. But for instance, this YouTube channel has been watched in night in 83 countries. And so her life has impacted 83 country companies, countries because she said come and see. We must become experts at come and see. Like the the bar is so low. We just need to start and then keep growing. And when you know more, you do more. When you know more, you do more. Okay. So this on its own, this on its own deserves its own video. So I did a training for you guys. I actually finished and published it like right before I came on here. It is called Multiple Streams of Impact. So I gave you one, which is come and see. There are four others that everybody can start using today. Don't need to be a bishop, don't need to be a pope, don't need to be a pastor, don't need to be anything. You just need to be a believer who loves Jesus and is committed to impact. So, team, I'll have you post the link to it. Okay. It's called Multiple Streams of Impact. I want you to grab it, okay? I want you to grab it. I want you to pay attention to it. I want you to look at those five things and start practicing them. So you can start multiplying aggressively today. You can start multiplying aggressively today, not tomorrow. Today, okay. So team is gonna put that in the comments in a second. They just put it. I want you to just open it up, like you just click it so it's open on your thing. So once we're done with this, you can go, you can go read it. Don't read it now. Don't, don't, don't, don't read it now, okay? Because I still got one more thing to give you. Okay, okay. So number one, be fruitful. Must be fruitful because you're gonna multiply whatever you become. Be fruitful, multiply. Now, when we the the translation we read it in said, fill the earth. Okay, so we're gonna look at the next one. So, can you multiply your way to filling the earth? You cannot. There's another strategy needed, okay? So let me read it. Jesus, Jesus talked about it here. This is all what Jesus did, and it worked for Jesus, it will work for us, okay? All right, Matthew chapter 28. Please hear me when I say this. You want to have impact, be fruitful, and multiply. You want to have global impact, you want to have dominion, you want to aggressively push the kingdom of God forward. You can't stop at multiplication. The multiplication strategy will not fill the earth. If it would have, God would have stopped at multiply. The multiplication strategy will not fill the earth. The multiplication strategy will not fill the earth. I'm telling you this because it took me a while to learn this. And God says, What you are believing me for, you cannot have because you're using multiplication strategies. It cannot get you there. Okay. So be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth. How do we fill the earth? Matthew chapter 28. So pay attention to this because these are all different. I am having way too much fun. I hope you guys are having fun too. Okay, Genesis 28. This is so beautiful. I'm gonna read from verse 18. Pay attention to this. It says, and Jesus came and spoke to them, being his disciples, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Wonderful. Then he says, Go therefore. Okay, since I got this authority, I'm now delegating to you. Now go, go therefore, pay attention. Jesus was talking to his disciples, right? He had multiplied himself into these people. Then he told his disciples, now this is what you do. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Interesting. So Jesus is not only making disciples, which is how you multiply, he's telling his disciples to go make disciples. If you stop at making disciples, your your your your um impact is shortchanged. It will be powerful, but it's shortchanged. If you want to see it like explode, then you have your disciples making disciples. Do you see that? So now you're like, oh, then this is another thing. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. What you're telling the your disciples is I became fruitful and I multiplied. I want you to become fruitful and multiply. Now you start talking about generational stuff. Okay, when I say generation, I don't mean like your human generations, I mean generations of disciples. Because now you have people who've touched people who've touched people. Okay. He said, Go therefore, disciples, and make disciples. You guys see that? So, for instance, let's say you're using the come and see method. Come to a rise and shine. Okay, you say, Come to a rise and shine, which is great. And they're coming, you're holding them accountable, you're teaching them to you're teaching them, you're giving them the gift of accountability with prayer, you're inspiring them to read their Bible. So you have them at the fruitful stage, right? Then you tell them, when you come to a rise and shine tomorrow, bring two friends with you. Now you're taking them from being fruitful to now also multiplying, like you're multiplying. Right? And again, because you're the one who's doing all this stuff, what they do gets credited to your account as well. Okay, I'm gonna give you an example with numbers that will blow your mind, but I need to read the rest of this. So Jesus said, My disciples, go therefore and make more disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded, commanded you, and Lord, I'm with you always, even to the end of the age. Do you know what this means? It means you don't only teach them to be fruitful, you don't only teach them to multiply, but you also teach them to teach their disciples to be fruitful and multiply. Explosive impact. You have learned to be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth. You train your people to be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth. And if you would do that and you teach them to teach their people and teach their people, explosive impact. You will never, ever on this side of eternity know the true impact of your life. Ever. It will be impossible. Okay, now I want to show it to you in one more place, and then we're gonna do some math. You're gonna love the math, okay? Okay. Um, where do I pull this from? Is this first Timothy or 2 Timothy? Hold on, it is not first Timothy. It's 2 Timothy. Um, now Paul was teaching Timothy this principle using different language. This is what he said. He was talking to Timothy. I read from verse 1, 2 Timothy chapter 2, verse 1, New King James. It says, You therefore, my son, my disciple, be strong in the grace that is in Jesus Christ. This is all in Christ Jesus, this is a whole other message. Don't be strong in yourself, be strong, but not in yourself, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. You can be weak in the grace, anyway. Different day. Verse 2 and the things you have heard from me, right? So there's Paul, then there's Timothy, his disciple. So the things you've heard from me as a disciple commits these to faithful men, so your own disciples, who will be able to teach others, your own disciples who are making disciples. Okay. So I want you to see this. Okay, this is 2 Timothy chapter 2, verse 2. It says, I, Paul, have taught you, I have made you a disciple. Now the things I've taught you, take it and teach it to other people, your disciples, who will now teach other people, their own disciples. Do you see what I mean? And if you're teaching that, that means everybody is teaching everybody else to make disciples who are making disciples. So you are you know that it's good for you to be saved. You're helping other people to be saved who will get other people saved and get other people saved. You understand the baptism of the Holy Spirit is powerful, it will change your life. You're you're you're get you're you're filled with the Holy Spirit. You get others filled with the Holy Spirit, train them to train others and all. But whether that's you inviting, setting that up for it to happen or you doing it yourself, you understand giving. Okay, so for instance, people have different graces. One of my graces is giving. I am so looking forward to when I'll sign one million dollar check, one check, one check, like boom for the kingdom. And I'm not saying it like a wish and a dream, like I'm actively working towards it. Now, if I am somebody who is a giver, I understand this thing. Can I raise other people who are givers who raise other people, raise other people? Do you see what I'm saying? Like, and this is what we do in the natural, right? Like the the mom has kids, and then her kids have kids, and their kids have kids. Everybody's training everybody else on having kids. Like, hey guys, like we need to keep this thing going. Can this one life impact so many people that I can never measure? Yes, yes, my life, your life, our lives. Okay, so let me let me let me give you an example here. Okay, many years ago, or a few years ago, I was talking to um Pastor Ifama. You guys know her, right? She leads Prayer on a Rise and Shine and all of that. And I knew a passion of hers was she wanted to, she was a small group leader, right? So small group, um, home fellowship, cell groups, different names. So she was a small group leader, and she really wanted to help create a small group movement within the church. I want you to pay attention to this, okay? So she's a small group leader. She has, you know, 12 people that are in her small group, but she wanted to create this movement of people leading small groups and all of those things. It's a discipleship model within the church, it's not just for fun, right? So Jesus had the crowd, and then he had the small. Units he would talk with, right? So Jesus had that, so churches have that. Okay. Now she started off with okay, where I'm gonna have some people from my group, I'm gonna train them. They're going to they're going to lead, right? Small groups, okay? And then those people train other people and train other people and train other people, right? Our three cheatown says Bassifama is wonderful. She is, she's amazing. She's amazing. Okay, so so let's let's play around with some math. Okay, so she started doing that, and today, and if I think you're on here, if if I have the wrong number, tell me. Today she has 68 small groups under her, which is so crazy when you think about it. Okay. 68. Now, let's pretend these 68 are all first generation. They're not, but let's pretend they're all first generation. She has 63, 68 small groups. And let us say that each of these small groups have, on average, they have 10 people in them. Okay. So she has 68, she has 68 small groups with 10 in them. That means she's overseeing 680 people. Her life, because she's supporting the leaders and training the leaders and hosting meetings with pastor for them and all that. So 680 people, one life, one life, and she's still young. She's still young. Okay. Now she has 68. Okay. If she now has half of the people, okay, not all of them, half of them now go to second generation. So they're small group leaders that raise small group leaders. So those ones started their small group. 68 divided by two is 34, right? So 68 plus 34 is now a hundred and two small groups. And if we say 10 for each person, that means she has a thousand and twenty people over her. Okay. Now let's say another half go on. So that's 51. So plus 51. She now has 153 small groups. Now we're talking about 1,530 people, 1,530 people. One life. Then another half of those, so that's um 76. Let's call it 76, go on to start their small groups. That's 229. I want you to understand what I'm saying. Like, and and this is this is not counting all the branching. But I want you to think about the impact of one life. Now, this doesn't include the other things they do, it doesn't include the giving they do, it doesn't include the intercession they do, it doesn't include, it doesn't include any of that. But this is life change after life change after life change after life change. I need you to see this. I need you to see this. It is so wild, so wild. So this is the deal. And we can even let's let's go let's go a few more generations. So she has 229, and the 229, half of them, not all, just half of them. So that's 115. And now she's at 344, and half of those decide to start. That's another 170. She's at 514 small groups, right? It's just ridiculous. And in no time, that one life will hit a million, and that one life will hit 7 million. That's just the way it goes. I'm not factoring in the branching, that's just how crazy it is. So the deal is here. You have to decide. I will be fruitful, I will multiply, and I will fill the earth by multiplying myself with the people who are multiplying. Now we're talking exponential increase. Exponential. Okay. So we want some commitments here. And you may say, I'm shy, so am I. Um, I don't know everything, neither do I. Um I'm afraid of how my voice sounds when I talk, so was I. Um, I don't like whatever it is you think is the reason why, your excuses are just excuses. And I want to invite you to leave your excuses here today. I am not going to walk up to God and say the reason why I didn't do what you called me to do is because I was shy. Please. Okay, let me help somebody here. Um, this is my talk about every excuse, is just that it's an excuse. When I was in medical school, um uh we had a class called chemical pathology. I hated it. I hated chemical pathology. I'm like, this is a complete waste of my time. What is this foolishness? So I made an executive decision that I wasn't gonna study for the class, and I came up with all my excuses. Like, this is not fun. Um, I don't, I don't, I don't know this, it's not necessary, I don't have time, I'm busy. Like, I came up with all these excuses. All these excuses. And then we had our first test, okay? And Nigeria, I went to medical school in Nigeria, they use the European system. So you can fail out of medical school at any year, including a final year. The idea is give as many people as possible the opportunity to get into medical school and may the best man win. That's literally the model. So finally join the garden says that was organic chemistry. I loved chemistry. I was like, give mama some chemistry, right? It's amazing how we're all different. Anyway, so we had the first test. I hope you know the second I sat in the test, in the test hall and opened up my question book, I preached a short message to myself. I was like, Self, you know you actually could have studied for this thing. Like I was so committed, I didn't even buy the textbook. Like, like, hello, you could have studied for this thing. All of a sudden, it became so obvious how stupid and flimsy and ridiculous my excuses were. Like, self, you you you acting up, you tripping. But at that point, it was too late. It's time to take the test. Okay, so I took the test. And then after we took the test, here we go. They put um, because they would put the report on the board. Now, of course, it'd be with your number, not with your name, but they put it on a board for all to see. So I go there, I looked at it. My test score was 43. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 1, 2, 3. Okay. My test score was 43. What do you think I did that? Because at this point I knew it was my phone. Now, I I looked at the 43 and I preached a short message to myself. I said, self, you do want to be a doctor, right? Like, this is not this strategy is not going to work for you. And your excuses are stupid. Okay. So, guess what I did? I took my two left legs, as they say, and went to the bookstore, went to go buy my book and sat down and I read. All of a sudden, I had the time to read and everything, right? So now the beautiful thing about that is it was not my final exam. It was like it was a test. I could recover. I still ended up with an A in that class and all of that. But I could recover. When we show up before Jesus, it's done. Like you cannot get a crown for work you did not do. And sometimes people say, Oh, I just want, I just want to make it to heaven, however, it is, it doesn't matter. It's a lie. Because you on earth, where it's temporary, and you don't want to just be on earth, right? You want to have a good life, right? You want to have a life of significance, you want to have a great family. So, what in the world makes you think you want to get to heaven? And as even if I'm just the gatekeeper, even if I just barely make it in, not true. And we don't want to have eternal regret. That's a whole lot of regret. Right? Okay, so the idea is we leave all the excuses alone. And from today, we live lives that aggressively move the kingdom of God forward. We are fruitful, we are multiplying, and we are inspiring the people we're multiplying ourselves in to multiply. Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, fill the earth so your one life can have so much impact. So much. And when you read, when you read the article I wrote for you guys, the multiple streams of impact, you will see ways you can strategically do that. If you get those things, if you get this stuff, right? It doesn't matter where you're starting from, it doesn't matter what you think your limitation is. God gave us the ultimate cheat code because you are blessed to do this stuff, you are empowered to do this stuff. He put it in such a way that every believer can do this. Every believer. Okay? So, Father, I pray for everybody on this call, everyone I will catch the replay. And I ask that you help us. Holy Spirit, you are a teacher. Take this and unpack it even further. Take it and customize it for your people so they can see how to apply it right now, starting today. So from today, it's a we have days where we are fruitful, we multiply, and we fill the earth intentionally every single day. That we will be those people that when we show up before the Father, we'll say, Father, we glorified you on the earth by completing to the last detail what you assigned us to do in Jesus' name. Amen. What I am looking forward to, I am looking forward to when it'll be my 90th birthday party, it'll be your 90th birthday party, and we get back, we get there, and we get to see the impacts that our lives have had. We get to be in tears, like boo-hoo crying, tears of joy, going like, how is it that God was able to use me in this way? You hearing the stories upon stories of people who are third generation, fourth generation, fifth generation down, whose lives have been totally turned around and you didn't even know they existed. But you touch somebody who touched somebody who touched somebody else, who touched their mama, who touched them. You wake up every day and say it's like, oh my goodness, here she goes again, because we don't know what her life is gonna do because it is is not linear. She's touching people who touch people who touch people. She's like contagious, like COVID. Okay. This is what I am releasing my faith for for my life and for your life. So let's believe God for it together and start applying this today. In any way you can apply it today. Start today, and we just keep getting better and better and better. Okay, love you guys. Rooting for you always, always, always, always. I'll catch you on the article and all of this. Make sure you share this with somebody else. That's part of that's part of it, right? Okay, if this has helped you in any way, I would love for you to join the movement and share this episode with your friends, family, and the Christians in your world. By doing this simple thing, you could be changing the trajectory of someone's life, their family, and their community. That makes you a world changer and they will love you forever.
